Lead whole-school curriculum design, implementation, and review, ensuring clear alignment with the National Curriculum for England and the UAE School Inspection Framework. Develop and maintain curriculum maps, progression frameworks, and long-term plans to ensure coherence, continuity, and progression across all year groups. Monitor the impact of curriculum implementation through pupil outcomes, work scrutiny, and staff feedback, using findings to refine planning and strengthen curriculum delivery. Ensure curriculum accessibility and inclusivity by working closely with SEND and pastoral teams to adapt provision, support diverse learning needs, and close attainment gaps. Oversee the school’s assessment strategy, including baseline, formative, and summative assessments, moderation cycles, and reporting systems across the Primary phase. Design and implement assessment trackers and progress-monitoring systems to analyse attainment, measure progress, and evaluate the impact of interventions. Lead the development of the Self-Evaluation Form (SEF), coordinating evidence collation and ensuring accurate evaluation across teaching, learning, assessment, and leadership standards. Support School Development Planning (SDP) through data-informed priorities, measurable target setting, and monitoring progress against improvement actions. Conduct learning walks, lesson observations, and book scrutiny, providing structured, developmental feedback to strengthen teaching and learning quality. Build assessment literacy across staff through targeted CPD, coaching, and modelling effective use of data to inform planning and intervention. Work collaboratively with senior leaders to strengthen inspection readiness, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Support inclusion and pupil progress through targeted academic interventions and close monitoring of vulnerable and priority learner groups.
