Will I lose my files or installed apps?
Your personal files stay on the drive — I keep them safe. Installed apps get reinstalled fresh on the clean OS (that's the whole point of a clean install), so have your game/app installers or logins ready. I confirm what's backed up before we touch anything.
Can this brick my PC if our remote session drops?
No. The install is click-driven and you finish the final setup steps yourself (region, keyboard, account), so a dropped session just pauses things — it doesn't brick the machine. For a fully clean install I default to the USB-assisted path as the safest option; fully-remote works too on most setups.
Is the Windows image legit and safe? No malware?
