I set up Claude Code for developers and small teams, so it understands your codebase and follows your rules from the first session instead of guessing.


What I set up:

- CLAUDE.md files that describe your project, stack, commands and coding conventions

- Permission rules for what Claude Code may run, edit or never touch

- MCP servers for the tools you already use: GitHub, your database, docs, issue tracker

- Custom skills and slash commands for the tasks your team repeats

- Hooks that run your tests or linter after every change

- Usage and spend limits, so costs stay predictable


Then I test the setup on a real task in your repository and record it, so you can see Claude Code reading your rules and using your tools.


For teams, I add a shared configuration in the repo and a recorded training session on how to work with Claude Code day to day.
