I come from a musical family where storytelling was at the heart of everything. My father was a poet, and my mother was a singer, so I grew up surrounded by storytelling through music. Listening to old vinyl records of Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Guy Clark inspired my love for folk and country music.
