At Torres Multicultural, I provide supervisory support to staff on the following projects: - City of Phoenix, Floodplain Management Program - Valley Metro, Northwest Lightrail Extension, Phase 2 - PGH Wong, Engineers of the Future, An 'introduction to STEM' program for middle school students in underserved communities Primarily, I support Broadway Curve Constructors community relations team on the Interstate 10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project. I plan and execute outreach to residents and community organizations to inform the public of construction activities, restrictions and closures, plan community outreach events, translate materials into Spanish, conduct outreach in predominantly Spanish Speaking communities, and support management of in-bound communications from stakeholders. On this project, I introduced process improvements, developed innovative strategies for improving communication with the public, while performing additional work that included graphic design, layout design, drone and traditional photography, web development, audio recording and editing, voiceover, demographic and four factor analysis, and detailed constraints analysis for public outreach planning. I have also trained staff on use of Borealis, four-factor analysis, environmental justice, and public involvement planning. I am currently serving on the Torres Multicultural leadership team. In this capacity, I've introduced process improvements related to employee development and learning, learning and development planning, and performance reviews.
