Project Title: Senior Laravel Developer – Custom Comment Picker Application Role: Full-Stack Developer & UI/UX Designer Project Overview: I was commissioned by a digital marketing agency to develop a fully functional, interactive Comment Picker web application from the ground up. The primary objective was to create a tool capable of scanning and selecting random winners from social media comments (Facebook and Instagram) with complete transparency, fairness, and visual appeal. Technical Architecture & Development: To ensure robustness and scalability, I built the entire system using the Laravel PHP framework, leveraging its powerful Eloquent ORM for database management and Artisan console commands for background processing. I integrated the official Facebook Graph API to fetch real-time comment threads from live posts, implementing advanced filtering logic to exclude duplicates, spam, and page admin comments, ensuring only genuine participants were included in the draw. User Experience & Design Excellence: Understanding that the client would present this tool to live audiences during marketing events and giveaways, I prioritized the user interface and overall experience. I designed a clean, modern, and fully responsive front-end using Laravel Blade templates combined with Tailwind CSS. The highlight of the application is a stunning, interactive "Raffle Drum" animation that visually spins and selects the winner, adding an element of excitement, suspense, and transparency to the process. This visual feedback was crucial in building trust with the end-users viewing the draws. Challenges & Solutions: One of the main challenges was handling API rate limits and large volumes of comments without slowing down the interface. I solved this by implementing Laravel's caching mechanisms and job queues, ensuring the application remained fast and responsive even when processing thousands of comments simultaneously.
