Designed and deployed an AI shopping assistant for a live Shopify e-commerce store. Built a Node.js/Express backend integrating OpenAI's API with structured JSON outputs, including a verification layer that checks every AI-suggested product against the store's real inventory before it's shown — so recommendations can't include out-of-stock or non-existent items. Also built a deterministic skincare routine quiz (no AI calls needed, fast and free to run) and handled Shopify Admin API integration for inventory, collections, navigation, and store configuration.
