As a Senior HR Manager, I was responsible for handling the complete HR function independently. My role was not limited to paperwork; I was closely involved with employees and management on a daily basis. I handled end-to-end recruitment, starting from understanding requirements, coordinating interviews, closing positions, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new joiners. I was also responsible for explaining company policies, salary structure, and work culture to employees. I managed day-to-day HR operations such as attendance, leaves, payroll coordination, employee records, letters, and documentation. I ensured salaries were processed on time and resolved payroll-related queries of employees. I worked on creating and implementing simple and employee-friendly HR policies related to leaves, office timings, salary dates, discipline, and code of conduct, so employees clearly understood expectations. I handled employee grievances, performance issues, and conflicts by listening patiently and finding practical solutions that worked for both employees and management. I also took care of statutory compliances like PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, and maintained all compliance records properly. Apart from HR, I supported office administration including vendor coordination, facilities, and overall office discipline.
