Gescande objecten (photogrammetrie) kunnen heel mooie resultaten opleveren, maar het resulterende model kan moeilijk te bewerken zijn vanwege de zeer hoge polycount.
Het retopologiseren van het model naar een lowpoly-versie is veel makkelijker te renderen en houdt de grootte van je project laag. Fijnere details kunnen worden gebakken in een Normals map.
Als je scan voorzien is van vertex colors of een albedo texture, kan ik die ook bakken.
