I worked crazy hours, sometimes 20 hours a day because I was terrified of losing my job. I thought, “What if nobody hires me?” For almost 2 years, I put work before myself until I finally realized I was losing myself trying to prove my worth. So, I Left. I almost underestimated how much an internship could teach me. I joined Alkhidmat Foundation thinking: “Okay, I’ll gain some experience and add it to my CV.” But I left with something much more valuable. **Confidence.** Not the kind of confidence that comes from knowing everything. The kind that comes from being given a task you’ve never done before… …and figuring it out anyway. During my internship, I got the opportunity to work on: 🔎 Online & social media research 📊 Data collection and organization 📝 Documentation and administrative tasks 🤝 Team collaboration 💬 Professional communication ⏰ Managing tasks and deadlines At first, some tasks felt small. But I slowly realized something: ↪ Small tasks build big skills. Research taught me to pay attention to details. Teamwork taught me to communicate better. Administrative work taught me to stay organized. And every new task taught me to become a little more confident. Now, I’m taking these skills into my next chapter: → LinkedIn Profile Optimization → Online & Lead Research → Virtual Assistance → Data & Social Media Research I’m still learning. I’m still figuring things out. And honestly, I don’t have everything figured out yet. But I’m no longer waiting until I feel “ready.” ↪ I’m learning by doing. I used to think LinkedIn was just a place to upload your CV. Then I started working on LinkedIn profiles at Fiesta Consultants LLC. And I realised something: ↪ Your profile can tell your story before you ever get the chance to. I have seen profiles that have great experience but didn’t communicate it well. A weak headline. A generic About section. The right skills, but the wrong keywords. My job was to find those gaps and turn them into a profile that actually represented the person behind it. I researched industries and keywords, improved headlines and About sections, and helped make experience sound clearer and more professional. That experience taught me that LinkedIn optimization isn’t just about adding keywords. ↪ It’s about making your professional story easier to understand. And that’s what I now bring to every LinkedIn profile I work on. 🚀
