Do I need to pay the full amount before development starts?
No. For larger inventory projects, we can divide the work into milestones, so you don't have to pay the entire project cost upfront. The payment structure will be agreed before development begins.
Can I start using the system before the entire project is finished?
Yes. Larger systems can be developed and delivered in phases. Once a usable milestone is completed, you can start using it while the remaining functionality is being developed.
Can you migrate my existing inventory data?
Yes. If you already have products, stock records, suppliers, customers, or other data in spreadsheets or an existing system, we can discuss importing and mapping that data into the new system.
Can you connect it to my existing software?
Yes. If your current software provides an API or another suitable integration method, I can connect the inventory system with it. We can review the available APIs and requirements before development.
Can I use the system on multiple computers or locations?
Yes. A web-based inventory system can be accessed from different devices and locations, with access controlled according to the users and permissions agreed for the project.
Do you provide hosting and deployment?
Yes. I can deploy the completed system to your preferred hosting provider and help configure the server, domain, SSL, database, environment variables, and other required settings.
What happens after the inventory system is completed?
I will deploy the final version, verify the agreed functionality, and provide the required project access and source code. We can also continue with maintenance or further development if needed.
Do I receive the complete source code?
Yes. The completed source code is provided according to the agreed project scope. You can host and maintain the system yourself or continue working with me for future development.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes. I can provide post-delivery support for issues related to the delivered system. Ongoing maintenance, new features, integrations, and larger changes can be handled separately.
What if my inventory requirements change during development?
That's possible with custom systems. If a new requirement is within the agreed scope, it can be handled as part of the project. Requirements outside the original scope can be added to a later milestone or quoted separately.
