I started Sajawal Solutions because I wanted to build websites the right way—not just install themes and call it done. Today, I work with business owners from the US, UK, Australia, and UAE who need custom WordPress sites that actually help them grow. Some clients come to me with a clear idea. Others just know they need a website that works better than what they have. Either way, I sit down with them, figure out what their business actually needs, and build it. For eCommerce stores, I set up WooCommerce from scratch—products, shipping, taxes, payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal. If they need subscriptions or member-only areas, I build those too. When a client needs something no off-the-shelf plugin can do, I write custom plugins that fit their exact workflow. I use Advanced Custom Fields so clients can update their own content without touching code. I build custom post types for real estate listings, job boards, event calendars—whatever makes sense for their business. I also fix sites that are slow, broken, or hacked. I optimize databases, set up caching, and make sure everything loads fast. If a site gets hacked, I clean it up and lock it down so it doesn't happen again. What matters most to me is that my clients feel taken care of. I reply fast, I deliver when I say I will, and if something goes wrong after launch, I fix it. No excuses, no disappearing. I don't use technical jargon to sound smart. I explain things plainly so my clients understand what they're paying for and feel confident running their sites.

For two years, I taught web development to Computer Science and IT students at the University of Education Lahore. My job was to take students who knew little about coding and, by the end of the semester, have them building real websites and applications. I taught frontend basics—HTML for structure, CSS for styling, JavaScript for interactivity. Once they got comfortable, I introduced React and Next.js so they could build modern, dynamic sites. On the backend, I walked them through Node.js, Express, databases, and APIs. But the real learning happened when they built projects. I had students create eCommerce sites, task management apps, blog platforms, portfolios. They worked in teams, made mistakes, debugged together, and learned to use Git for version control. I didn't just lecture. I sat with them while they coded, helped them figure out why their code wasn't working, and celebrated when things clicked. I broke down confusing topics—like promises, authentication, async/await—into plain language they could actually understand. Beyond code, I talked to them about what working as a developer is really like. How to communicate with teammates, how to ask good questions, how to keep learning after graduation. Seeing students go from "I don't know if I can do this" to building their own projects and landing jobs was the best part. I'm still in touch with some of them. They send me their work, ask for advice, and that tells me I did something right.

At Softyino, I was part of a small team building websites for clients in different industries. My job was to take designs—from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD files—and turn them into real, working websites that looked good on phones, tablets, and computers. I worked with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Next.js. I built layouts using Flexbox and Grid, made sure everything was responsive, and tested across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge so nothing broke for anyone. I worked closely with backend developers to connect the frontend to APIs—fetching data, handling errors, making sure the user experience was smooth. I learned to write clean code that other developers could easily understand and build upon. We worked in agile teams, so there were daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews. I got comfortable with Git and GitHub, creating branches, reviewing pull requests, and keeping our codebase organized. I paid attention to small details—making sure buttons were clickable, forms worked properly, and pages loaded fast. I optimized images, lazy-loaded content, and cut down unnecessary code. It was a collaborative environment. If I got stuck, I asked for help. If a teammate needed feedback, I gave honest, constructive input. We shipped projects on deadline and supported each other along the way. That experience taught me how to build things that actually work for real people, not just look good in a design file.
