Yuji Kitajima, born in Japan, now living in France, has worked as a musician, teacher, salesperson, and hotel staff. Today, he is a writer, translator, photographer, and spiritual advisor. In Japan, he collaborated with media, publishing 27 books. He has written for Japanese magazines, fostering cross-cultural dialogue. His current research focuses on cultural anthropology and Eastern philosophies, especially Taoism.
