I will build a production rest API or backend integration

I build REST APIs and backend integrations that move the right data between business systems and make failures visible. My experience includes healthcare-adjacent operations, vendor workflows, validation, and auditability.

Before coding, we define the source and destination, fields, trigger, expected result, and retry or exception behavior. This turns a vague integration request into a testable workflow.

Endpoint: one contained endpoint or integration workflow.

Service: an agreed multi-endpoint service or substantial integration, data modeling, error handling, and deployment guidance.

Subsystem: a defined backend subsystem with broader tests, deployment support, and recorded handoff.

Delivery includes validation, automated tests, documentation, and updates at least every two business days during active work. We agree scope changes before building. Maintenance or periodic reliability reviews can follow under a separate scope and response window.

Frontend apps, hosting, licenses, provider fees, broad migrations, data cleanup, and unrelated workflows are excluded. Revisions refine agreed behavior.
