Mapped ownership of properties and removed discrepancies in latest versions of ArcGIS and QGIS. Computed land extents and generated map products and tables used for yearly valuation. Completed Wayleaves and Disposal layers for various sectors owned by Alteo Ltd in a comprehensive GIS system. Tracked and updated properties bought and sold through workable layers in said GIS system. Added and removed land from ownership depending on new findings and surveys. Created maps as per requests (e.g. Anahita estate trail maps and Sugarcane mechanization maps). Created and maintained database of identified religious sites including places of worship and burial sites. Mapped all plots on GIS e.g. land leased and agricultural assets. Created and updated a relevant and comprehensive database with all information gathered.

Project - "Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience DR3" - as part of the bigger Re-Energize DR3 effort. In Partnership with UCL and funded by the Belmont Forum (sponsors CNR, JST, QNRF, UKRI, NSF). Worked in tandem with the Land Drainage Authority and Statistics Mauritius for data acquisition. Provided maps for publication centered on climate change-related extreme weather events such as flooding and flash floods in the South and East of Mauritius. Performed field surveys and interviews in several regions of Mauritius. Performed Statistical Analyses using SPSS and R and Geostatistical Analyses using ArcMap. Used a combination of ArcGIS and QGIS for varied tasks including Watershed Analysis and Morphometric Analysis. Co-authored several papers related to the DR3 project - including journal articles that include concepts of resilience, preparedness, adaptation, recovery and vulnerability in a climate challenged world. Contributed maps and co-authored a chapter on flood vulnerability and social protection in the book Migration Vulnerability: Access to Social Protection for Select Migrant Categories published by African Sun Media.
