A high-quality transcript starts with a high-quality recording. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to produce a high-quality transcript. I make every effort to hear and understand what is said to eliminate as many indiscernible words as possible. However, there will be times when I cannot do so, mainly when dealing with complex audio, which includes background noise, speakers talking over each other, and muffled recordings.
