Find Google Ads negatives to cut waste: search terms often spend budget without converting, and it is unclear which negatives to add, at what level, and how much you would save.
Best for Search or Shopping with spend spikes, rising cost per lead, or falling return. Suitable for lead generation and ecommerce. Ideally the export includes Conversions, Impressions, and Campaign. Without Conversions, I use spend only (less precise). Prefer 50 or more terms with real spend.

Does this work for leads and purchase conversions?
Yes. If your export includes Conversions, I prioritise terms with high spend and zero conversions, for both lead-gen and ecommerce. Without Conversions I work from spend only, which still finds obvious waste but is less precise.
Will you log into my Google Ads account?
No. I only use the CSV you export. You add the negative keywords in Google Ads yourself, so you stay in full control of every change.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Export Google Ads → Insights and reports → Search terms (7 to 30 days) CSV with Search term, Clicks, and Cost. Preferred: Conversions, Impressions, Campaign, Ad group. Share average daily budget (USD). Optional brand list. Not a Keywords report or GA4.
What exactly will I receive?
Spreadsheets, charts, and clear written guidance: up to 20 negatives to add now, up to 10 terms to watch, 5 to 10 phrase ideas, a full ranked term list, and wasted spend by campaign when available. Not a PDF or PowerPoint audit deck.
How often should I run this / what is next?
Run it when spend looks abnormal, then every 7 to 30 days or after big campaign changes. If you want to go deeper afterwards, options include a statistical waste ranking, an Ads to GA4 tracking check, or search intent strategy work.
